NWA Alaskan Adventure

NWA Alaskan Adventure

About a month ago, I was privileged to join Barry Strickland and Greg Sailors of New Wilderness Adventures, along with 2 other men on an Alaskan Adventure. Below are some of my reflections on our time together. I would encourage you to join us for our next Alaskan Adventure, you will never be the same.

The message of the heart has not been heard in Alaska…and it is still the last frontier to be conquered for the Kingdom, and that is exactly what the NWA Alaskan Adventure was…a scouting trip behind enemy lines. But for me personally, the NWA Alaskan Adventure was one of the most refreshing and healing experiences I have had since my Ransomed Heart Boot Camp experience a few years back. As the local, I, from the beginning felt it was my role and responsibility to be transportation, tour guide, wildlife biologist, and fishing guide on our adventure…but that is not what God had in mind.

Though the counsel by Barry Strickland and Greg Sailors was, “sit back and enjoy”…my driveness could not be mastered by conversation. Then God came for me! In the form of a young man named Patrick. Through his humor (you have got to check out www.chucknorrisfacts.com!) his own tempo caused God to speak to me in a way that told me to slow down and relax…”This is for you” is what I heard the Father say. God even went further and turned a place where my driveness is usually at top level, and guided me to break some serious agreements and reclaim strongholds that had been previously occupied by the Enemy, retaken and reclaimed for the kingdom!

God came for me, God came for all of us, and it was glorious! Thank you to everyone who was in attendance and thank you to all who gave so generously to the redemptive work that New Wilderness Adventures is doing for God’s Kingdom…I, and Alaska will never be the same!
